Asbestos Evaluations
Chemical Exposure Determination
Asbestos, once thought to be the perfect insulator, is now a recognized carcinogen.  Exposure to asbestos must be curtailed by either removal or containment.  Our services include site inspection and sampling of any suspect material with analysis by a EPA approved laboratory. We are then able to provide you with safe and effective control plan.procedures

Inefficient or aging ventilation systems may be pouring away money spent for heating, cooling and air circulation.  Workers may be exposed to toxic gases and fumes. We can study the environment with area or personal samplers with OSHA or NIOSH developed methods as indicated.
Hazardous Gases, Fumes and Ventilation
Sound level measurements are made in accordance with OSHA PEL or the more stringent ACGIH TLV.  Workers exposure is reported in time-weighted average exposure, and recommendations are made for personal protection and/or administrative controls.
Noise Level Measurements
Your employee is encouraged to modify high risk behavior and can monitor their progress with anytime access to their personal Healthpage on our On-Line Health Risk Assessment Programs.
Ergonomics
Common air pollutants include radon, formaldehyde, ozone, carbon monoxide and mold.  A common, often unrecognized problem is improper combination of temperature and relative humidity.  Even though no OSHA regulations are violated, these conditions can result in reduced worker efficiency and attendance.  Our evaluation and recommendations are based on the most up to date ASHRAE standards.
Tight Building Syndrome ( Indoor Air Pollution )
Right to know Regulations
We can bring your place of employement into compliance with the multiphase requirements of this complex law.  Noncompliance can lead to severe fines.  Implementing a right to know program will make your workforce more knowledgeable and efficient.
Personal protection includes respirators, earmuffs or plugs, gloves, goggles and even hand lotions, all used to reduce occupational hazards.  However, all of these items, if used incorrectly can increase rather than reduce occupational hazards, through false confidence.  Let us help you make certain that your well intentioned use of personal protection is actually adding to safety.
Personal Protection
In the Southeast, ambient temperatures often reach levels where heat stroke is a strong possiblity. We use the OSHA approved Wet Bulb Black Globe measurement to establish safe working conditions.
